We know Mark Moses, who plays Duck. So the seduction was even skeevier because, hey, that's Mark, who I first met when he was 16 and was 18. I mean, yikes!
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I love how we're totally pants about our speculation! (Not that a lot of it couldn't still happen!) I have no idea where this show is going, but it's brilliant how it goes there.
Seriously skeevy with Duck.
Also, I find the Don/Roger breakup very sad. I know it's been sort of inevitable for a long time, but I loved those scenes of camaraderie from the early shows. And with Don & Betty's relationship still seriously strained, he's one isolated puppy. Although, let me just say for the record that screwing your kid's teacher so not the way to relieve that tension.
I love how we're totally pants about our speculation!
I know, right? After that opening shot of Don on the floor, I said "oh well" and then reached for the (metaphorical) popcorn.
Peggy really is following in the steps of her mentor.
What I can't figure out is who is using who? I'm worried about Peggy.
Peggy is a survivor and despite what Don snits, she knows what/when to ask. I'd be more worried about Duck.
Nicely done, muppets.
Peggy's lonely. When she meets men her own age, she tells them she's a secretary, presumably so they won't be intimidated. Duck at least seems to like that she's talented and ambitious.
I kind of love that Betty bought the fainting couch, but her decorator was right, it's awful blocking the fireplace like that.
For the record, I'll be happy to take that couch if Betty gives up on it. I would cheerfully remake my living room around it.
I really wanted a fainting couch for this house. I wanted to put it in the sunroom, where one could slounge luxuriously and bask in the winter sun.
But I didn't get one. Because fainting couches and Japanese minimalism are so not of one accord. However, I do have an awesome window seat in there now that the SO built for me, on which I can slounge to my heart's content. I need some more cushions, though.
It was way in the way in Betty's house, though, and she bought it just for the random guy in her life who's not Don.
I'm trying to convince myself that she bought it for herself, that works-for-the-governor guy just sort of gave her permission to get it, but you are probably right.
she totally bought it for governor connection guy. Who totally came to Ossining just to see her.
