it throws me when other characters react to her as if she's the hottest thing walking, when to me she is terribly skinny and not pretty at all.

Well, men are stupid and they have somehow developed the idea that thin=pretty. I do have to admire her six pack, though.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I can understand that some guys like thin. I just don't think that means that ALL they like is thin. I find some thin does=pretty. David Tennant, for example--although I have loved and lusted after men of many shapes.

true. the implication in this show is that all men like thin women (even if they might like other kinds of women as well, thin is always pretty)
