Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

Our wings are not tired.

Iirc*, "Choose Me" is an Alan Randolf ("The Moderns") movie. I really loved it at the time, but haven't seen it since.

  • I am on a Google-search hiatus when it comes to looking up stuff I really should strive to remember instead.

Always Anti-fascist!

Pretty Good Rescue Me tonight, except the horny chiros were a bit of a return to old bad habits. And, ok, Franco's a Truther...we get it. But, as Tommy said last week, if he could harness the energy he uses chasing tail, he could save the world. Also, in my head part of that last Tommy/French Chick exchange went like this: TOMMY: You just want to pump me for information... FC: What else do I want to pump you for?Ew, never mind. just for the Spuffy shout-out...

You are correct.

Pretty Good Rescue Me tonight,

Agreed.

except the horny chiros were a bit of a return to old bad habits.

And also this.

If that was the end of Gina's run on the show, I'll be sad to not see her regularly. She doesn't get enough (decent) work.

Art Crawl!!!

Could things end with Tommy that cleanly?

It seems out of character.

I also agree. It was definitely one of the funniest, too. I just hope the secondary characters get a decent story arc: Mike and his bar aren't very interesting.

I'm thinking they aren't done yet, because they wouldn't really need to bring her back for that, right? They could just write her out without showing her, plus, if memory serves, Peter Tolan digs a chick fight. He will probably not be able to resist a Gina & "Marina" throw-down of some sort. (I remember the French chick from the L word, but don't remember her name on this show.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Genevieve. I remember because it's one of my fave french names.

I like it too, but I guess it was so expected, it didn't make an impression. It's true that the guys tripped over themselves trying to say it like she did, though.

That was my high school French name. I chose it because Stephanie didn't really have a french translation. Lousy accent, that's it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm finally watching Deadwood and enjoying it immensely, and I just have to get this out of my system: Seth Bullock/Timothy Olyphant reminds me way too much at times of Michael Biehn, in such a happy, happy way.
