Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm watching it, Wolfram. The business with the FBI guys was pretty messed up. Although I'm glad there was a payoff to the phone calls from the "ex-wife". I should have known, as it seems like everything on the show that appears trivial at first end up having more significance. Which makes me wonder about the art gallery owner...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm very sad to see Mario go, but I can't deny the other agent's personality as played has further to go.

So--Ellen kills herself? A rabbit sitting next to Hewes' chair? What? I was sure there wasn't a S3. I wouldn't miss Rose Parson, but it would be weird without her stilted little point of view.

Hey--is the guy playing the shifty-still-alive cop the same guy who plays the dad being set up on dates on one of those partner free call cell ads? If so, well, done.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm watching Damages too and it keeeled me to see Mario get killed because he's so purty. But yeah, there needed to be pay-off.

I don't think Close has been shot, either. I do believe someone else was sitting next to her, and that person was done in.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, the shifty, cop/security guy/blackmailer is also the online dating Dad in the cell phone ads.

Heh, I noticed that the other day too.

I thought the guy who plays Agent Werner looks like the guy from The Shield who oral rapes Aceveda, but it turns out it's Glenn Kessler - one of the show's creators/writers.

I thought that Close could be shot, just, y'know, not fatally.

But a third person in the room makes sense -- it's the type of HSQ the show would do.

They've already made it clear that Ellen's become quite the markswoman. I doubt she'd have missed Patty from such (forgive me) close range.

When Patty stumbled out I suspected a third person too, so seeing one won't be so HSQ for me. Maybe it's Frobisher?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yeah, Ellen totally shot someone else.

Or...she shot someone who was already dead. Which I could totally see this show doing.

It would be funny if Frobisher gets shot and is presumed dead at the end of every season. He's the new Kenny!

Do we see Ellen firing in any of the flash-forwards, or each time do we just see her point the weapon, then it cuts to black and we hear the shots fired? If the latter, my money is on Ellen being the shootee and Patty or NotSheriffofDeadwood being the shooter.
