Did you ever get to see the Global Frequency pilot? He also wrote the latest Blue Beetle series for DC, as well as stuff for smaller houses.

He also wrote an episode of Eureka, which is funny because he knows Colin (and me) from school and the comedy subculture in Montreal.

I rewatched The Second David Job last night, and I just have to sigh about Parker/Hardison. What a gentle little ship I have for those two. They're so adorable.

Parker is so broken that I don't think she realises the sexual content of everything she does, that other people will react to her sexually--she's the anti-Sophie that way. But she gets she likes Hardison.

And Hardison, bless him, looks like a shyish uncertain regular guy. He likes her, and he's clearly intending to pursue it, but he doesn't know the best way to approach her. And he gets frustrated.

Poor noodles.

I think Parker gets a little something, I really liked "how hard will you try to find me?"

I think she wants him to like her, but has no idea what being cared for feels like or involves. Hence the running and the test.

And I think she likes him, she just doesn't know what to do.

I loved his asking her where she'd be. It wasn't all piney or anything, but he also wasn't shy of showing he had a particular interest in her.

Oh, the fic possibilities...

I know! It's the best little 'ship evah because it feels so organic. Like the reasons those two crazy kids aren't together already make total sense.

None of that "So what you're saying is that we shouldn't?" "Well, is that what you're saying?" crap.

John better not disappoint me. But the thought that multiple people put into why Nate/Sophie couldn't work at least in S1 gives me hope. They better not change the creative team substantively.
