None of that "So what you're saying is that we shouldn't?" "Well, is that what
you're
saying?" crap.
John better not disappoint me. But the thought that multiple people put into why Nate/Sophie couldn't work at least in S1 gives me hope. They better not change the creative team substantively.
Okay, so I need, need I tell you, Leverage icons and I'm out trolling for screencaps. A, the screencap sites are annoyingly arranged. And B, since I watched all in a jumble, I can't remember which bits are from which.
I need to make two Hardison icons, one "Age of the Geek, baby" which is from the pilot, yes? And one "Seriously? Seriously!" with him upside down outside the window with Parker. But I can't remember which ep that was in, or how far into the ep, and I'm randomly scrolling through thousands of screencaps and GRUMP!
Help a sister out?
"Age of the geek, baby" is what he says shortly after he meets Parker in the pilot. Eliot asks him how she's going to react when she finds out he lives with his mother (later demonstrated not true).
The "Seriously? Seriously!" I think is shortly after he doesn't want to rappel with her because he remembered gravity and the squishiness of his manly bits...but that's not helping me remember the episode. I'll think on it.
I thought that was the pilot also? With the rappelling?
I just skimmed through the pilot, and no, it's not there. The age of the geek line is 4 minutes in, if that helps, Liese.
Yup. That does help.
Although for that line I may need to pick another Hardison moment and just overlay the text even though it's not concurrent.
But for seriously, I need that specific one, and I can't find it for the life of me. Guess I've got some rewatch to do. Woe.
Ah, from the quotes page on tnt, it looks like it's homecoming. Now to see where...
Okay, I found it but the caps are crap!

Hmm. Guess I'll have to make do.
I checked a couple other screencap sites, and Hardison is pretty much just a silhouette in all of them.
Does anyone play GTA and watch Leverage? Apparently there was a "hot coffee" joke in the finale that references one of the GTAs. I know the hot coffee line: Eliot says of Maggie "Maybe she just wants hot coffee." when Nate is getting twitchy about the ease with which Eliot gets to go out with her.
But what's the ref? Google just tells me the joke is out there. I can't work out what it is.
And how soon did Maggie know Dr. Sinclair wasn't on the up and up? Because she asked him out pretty quickly. She didn't know about the scam because we see her react to Nate telling her what they really are.
