Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Frank - you are probably right about that example and her not wanting to ask for help when she could easily have saved herself.
The more I think about it though, she is kinda like Sophie in that she can pull it off when she is playing a role, such as a cop in The Bank Job, or a drunken bridesmaid. But not so much when she just has to be a "normal person", such as when she was on jury duty.
Parker's more often than not socially inept, even in-con, but she is supposed to have improved over the season. But that early on? Even in that ep she was awkward enough to make the chief bridesmaid cry. Perhaps they should have had someone prompt her to act drunk, and then she added on the Hardisex.
They're also situationally deaf over the comms, but I guess they have to pay attention to other things too.
Nate talked about how they'd mortgaged the house, maxed out the credit cards, etc.
Ah. I missed this.
Agree with Sail about that aspect of it, though.
I think I'm caught up after the marathon, but maybe I'm not. Or maybe the order is just jacking with me. Is there a good ep guide up somewhere?
The episode order yesterday was really off.
Oh, another thing that pinged me was Nate's reaction in The First David Job to the "intervention" at the beginning. He says something like "are my bags packed, am I going to rehab". Shouldn't that have been "again", or "a real rehab" or something referring back to his fake stint in rehab?
Man, I'm being picky today.
John Rogers has an ep order up in his last Leverage post.
I don't think it's a problem not referring back to rehab, but it might have been nice.
ita, thank you for the link to the blog. 1) I didn't know Rogers was behind this show. Makes me like it EVEN MORE! Second, the stuff he says is really fascinating.
I'm gripped.
It's probably been said here before, but what would I know John Rogers from?
Did you ever get to see the Global Frequency pilot? He also wrote the latest Blue Beetle series for DC, as well as stuff for smaller houses.
He also wrote an episode of Eureka, which is funny because he knows Colin (and me) from school and the comedy subculture in Montreal.
I'm sure he's done other stuff I'm forgetting. He's basically a fannish geek made real good.
John Rogers has namechecked ita on at least on occasion on his blog.
Did you ever get to see the Global Frequency pilot?
No, dammit. I'm sure it's online somewhere, but I've been too lazy to seek it out.
