Do you suppose that they'll totally skip over the assassination and go right to the Beatles?

Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Man, don't tell me that you guys got the finale tonight? I don't get it until next weekend!
So I didn't end up serial posting:
Betty is pregnant!
Duck wants Pete to be the new head of accounts!
Don noticed Peggy's haircut, hee.
Awwww, Don missed his kids.
I think Duck is going to temper tantrum himself out of being President of PPLSC.
Pete's putting the end of the world moves on Peggy! I wuuuuuv yoooouuuuu!
HMOG! Peggy told Pete he was a daddy! Guess the Father was right that she really needed confession.
"There's less of you and you wonder where it went." Peggy = Don before the trip to California.
I'm seriously glad I was only 5 when the Bay of Pigs happened, because I sure didn't know how scary it was.
Oh, shit. Now Don doesn't know if Betty asked him back because she wants him or because of the baby. I like the way they pointed up the difference between Peggy and Betty. Peggy could have and Betty did.
Talk about bombs dropping!
And the cast party was cute!
Oh gosh - yes! About Peggy being Don.
Man, as soon as you saw Don at the stables you could tell he was different.
I didn't know that the stock market crashed when the Bay of Pigs happened.
I guess Peggy's confession to Pete was also an end of the world thing, wasn't it?
I think Duck is going to temper tantrum himself out of being President of PPLSC.
I got the same feeling.
BTW, who played Betty's pick-up? He looked so familiar.
(But then he kind of looked like Don - in the half-light.)
(Over at TWOP they're saying it was Captain Awesome! Wow- that really is awesome.)
And I have to agree about Duck and his temper tantrums. In fact, I'm guessing that was the British firm's plan all along.
Okay, was Handsome Stranger that Betty did in the restroom Captain Awesome from Chuck? I'm almost positive it was, his voice is so distinctive, but he's not on the credits and it's not listed on Ryan McPartlin's IMDB page either.
And I absolutely, positively love that Saint John had absolutely no illusions about Duck. So dry and terribly British with the "He never could hold his liquor." Heh.
And Don not having a contract was about the largest bomb for me—just totally out of nowhere and the beauty of it was how it so clearly illustrated Duck's utter disregard for the place creative has in advertising.
I'm sure there's more, but I'm still processing. And let the speculation begin as to when they're going to pick up.
I just looked up the date. This all happened when I was in second grade, in Pomona CA, and my youngest sister was just under 2 months old.
I don't remember hearing anything about this. I don't remember my parents talking about it. I remember Cassius Clay beating Sonny Liston, but not this. Huh.
