I think it's a bit of thinking of her as a dog that can walk. You don't question that it can with a little training and then you profit from it as much you can.

It always possible that she had a weird nickname. Growing up, in fine New England fashion, me and my siblings were Sissy, Booey, and Tippy. These names bear no relation to our real names.
