Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are going to a friends' wedding today. The groom's brother is an actor. Not famous or anything, but you may know him as the guy who bursts into Al's office naked and furious in the first episode of Deadwood. It's a memorable scene--he's a big burly guy and not the kind of actor one normally sees in a long nude scene. It will be very funny to meet him--today he will be in a tux, and my only other view of him has been buck naked!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'd say that counts as famous.

“Not dead yet!”

And Joan... man-- I really thought that Joan really saw something opening up for her the same way it had for Peggy and to have Harry be so utterly oblivious.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I felt really badly for Joan. I did.

Me too. Although I was glad to see evidence that she really was engaged; I still wasn't sure she wasn't making that up.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I really thought that she was making it up, too. I felt bad for her about the broadcast operations thing. I don't know that she really expected it to go anywhere, but having the rug yanked from under her like that had to be hard.

Art Crawl!!!

I was also so disappointed for Joan. I really thought she'd found her new niche. I guess if figures that Harry was oblivious. (I bet the new guy won't be half as good at the job as Joan was.)

And Betty. Wow - she really is losing it.
