It was incredible.
'Heart Of Gold'
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
So good. I will have to make time to rematch in a binge at some point.
Oh, hey, Better Call Saul is back tonight.
Anyone else watching London Spy? I'm into it.
Oopsie.
Is anyone watching Walking Dead? I don't have anyone to fangurl over Daryl Dixon with and I'm sad.
I do! And I'm happy to fangurl over Daryl, but I haven't seen last night's episode yet.
Ooohhhhh!
If ltc cooperates, we should be catching yesterdays episode tonight. It is usually appointment TV in our house, but we watched the Academy Awards last night instead.
So I watched the pilot of Underground last night. It's full of genre actors: Aldis Hodge, Adina Porter, Reed Diamond, and Marc Blucas are all in it. I thought it was good, if not great. Has potential, and one of the things I liked was how focused it is on the black characters. This isn't a white view of the slave experience: it's their own view.
I think this could be really interesting.
I saw it for free on Amazon Prime, I don't know if the rest of the season will be free.
People v. OJ Simpson, anyone?
My main question is if it's just because I haven't seen the actor in anything else that I think the guy playing Darden is the absolute best. I mean, lots of them are great, but I'm constantly thinking about the actor playing the real person.
