Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Damn, Joan! Although I think she's totally right about what's his name wanting to seem "interesting."

Oh, yes! I meant to comment on her, but there weren't a lot of people posting, so I just kinda let it go by. Man, what a bitca. I wanted to smack her despite the fact I like her. I loved that someone posted her birthday and Peggy denying seeing anyone put it up there. Heee, I hope it was Peggy getting a little back on Joan for the copier.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

The Zap2it recapper thought it was what's-his-name getting even with her for what she said to his girlfriend.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Joan really can't handle not being the most powerful woman in the office anymore, and she's losing some of her cool factor with the bitcaness, imo.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Presumably, no one knows she had the baby, so I'm dying to know what her excuse was.

Pete said in the previous episode that Peggy had gone to a fat farm, and that this had somehow been confirmed.

Heee, I hope it was Peggy getting a little back on Joan for the copier.

It was clearly a man's arms "borrowing" her bag from the locker.

Yeah, I heard Pete mention the fat farm, and while he sounded like he knew what he was talking about, I have no reason to believe he knows it and wasn't just repeating an unsubstantiated rumor as fact. After all, we've learned he was absolutely positive that a French bulldog was a Boston terrier and he was wrong.

It was clearly a man's arms "borrowing" her bag from the locker.

Oh, yes! Somehow, I did not put two and two together. I didn't realize it was Joan's bag, so the man's arms left me with a "wuh?" feeling, but didn't lead me to the other thing.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Whatsisname Pretentiousface stole Joan's bag and put the birth certificate up, but no way did Peggy not see him do it.

"Go ahead. Tell me what part is wrong." Love.

The Peggy/baby storyline, btw? WILL KILL ME. There is no way for me to watch it without thinking THAT BABY IS THE SAME AGE AS MINE. COMFORT HIM, DAMNIT! The church scene was positively heartbreaking.

I took Pete's fat farm comment in the first ep to be a rumor he started and "verified" because he knows damn well it wasn't Don Draper Peggy was knocking boots with on the office couch last season.

That occurred to me as well.

The directing in this episode was especially stylish. I particularly liked the way the camera would often look through doorways at the action happening within. It was like we were eavesdropping.

I think that if Peggy had been institutionalized, she may have started/confirmed the fat farm rumour. I still think that Pete is too oblivious.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

She was on Pushing Daisies, too, we think.

She was the Make-A-Wish lady who murdered the insurance agents who denied the transplant for the grumpy teenager.
