I didn't mind the ending of Season 1 so much, but pretty much all of Season 2 was boring and/or ridiculous to me. I'm hoping that having an entirely new case will help, although I am not hoping very hard. I suspect I am just not the right audience for this show.
I don't know anything about the original (except that it was wildly popular in England), so that's not a concern for me.
le nubian, I am reserving the right to laugh at you a tiny bit if you do show up to complain about The Killing later in the season. Because giving up shows is not my strong suit, so it's a weakness I find amusing.
it will not hurt my feelings in any way if you laugh. laugh hard, laugh long.
I will absolutely deserve it.
You know, as soon as Danny Strong showed up on Mad Men last night, I was hoping he would punch Roger in the nuts. This show does not disappoint.
That is the only review/recap of this episode I ever need to see, Jess.
I don't watch Mad Men, but have a sudden urge to find recaps...
if it is as good as Silk Stalkings (ha!) I am in.
One line from that review,
But USA’s greatest gift is for casting.
really struck me. It's so true - even when the dialogue is crap or the stories are outlandish, I stick around for how much I like the people. On the shows that I've given up (Suits) or never watched (that U.S. Marshalls thing that I'm blanking on the name of), I still have a lot of fondness for the characters. Quite a gift, really.
Silk Stalkings, where South Florida had cliffs.
