Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Finally saw last night's Mad Men.

Did you notice they referenced: Alice in Wonderland, The Prisoner and Rosemary's Baby (the book Sally was reading).

Thought the bit with Ida was very tense and scary. Had an off-kilter WTF element.

It definitely had a bit of a Twin Peaks vibe. Particularly that moment when Cutler gave Peggy the come-hither finger.

I don't know if Jon Hamm gets enough credit for his performance because he's letting all the cracks show. Particularly in that extended, uncomfortable scene with Sylvia in the elevator. So much going on in his face.

Cutler's hilarious. It's like having an extra, slightly weirder Roger around.

Stan is also hilarious.

The scene where Sylvia told Don to stop stalking her was excellent. She's more interesting breaking up with him and leaving him than she was with him.

Loved Sally in this ep; nice change after a season's worth of teen brattiness.

Ultimate High Point goes for Ken's tap-dance, though. And the look on Dawn's face.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

(You don't need to whitefont.)

It makes it more mysterious and enigmatic. Like the episode!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It also makes it impossible for people trying to read the thread on their cellphone to do that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey, call it natural deselection. If the poster wants you to know the unspoilery information, they'll put it in blackfont. If it's whitefont then it's skippable.

Juliebird, I think you meant to post that in Natter.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Darn the pitfalls of reading and posting on a tiny phone! Moving. . .
