and how Arlo came out of his double dose stupor? Did the double dose not actually work and he happened to become lucid enough to realize he was in danger? I can't see that the guard lied about overdosing him, and if so . . . I guess I don't know about drugs to know what the effect should be.
I felt we were supposed to think that Arlo was faking his reaction because he knew what was coming and was using it to his advantage. I think he got double meds but it didn't put him in a stupor so much as he faked it and then took his chance at fighting to break free when he could. Could be wrong.
I think you're right, Cass. But every Justified is so full of stuff...but he's been tonguing pills sine he lived with Helen so...
Yeah, she was awesome.
Watching her and Mags talk about the old days was sort of a highlight of that seasons
So, I know why they are doing it, but the clothes on The Americans bug me. I remember the 80s! (for example)
Also, Margo Martindale!
I think they're pretty good since it's 1980 and the very beginnng of the era--I counter your example with this: [link]
Yeah, the eighties don't really become "The Eighties" until about '84. Before that you had the Preppy Handbook.
Square Pegs was 82-83. But anyway, I will be keeping an eye on the hair and the pants if it gets more seasons, Because [link]
God, it was clearly good I spent those years outside the US...
I just did a cursory glance at pictures from the show, and what is amusing to me is that they STRAIGHTEN Keri Russell's hair! But I am not sure I remember 1980 too clearly, because I was 7, and I can't think of anything that happened that year except for John Lennon being shot!
