I recognized Adam Baldwin's voice immediately. I had wondered why they would have just gotten him for a random flashback cameo before.
Not a lot of the whole team working together, almost no progress on whatever Nate is hiding, and I feel like not much has really happened.
I agree. I don't mind the different spin on the episodes, as it keeps it from getting stale and formulaic, but the lack of progress on whatever Nate is hiding is irritating. Don't tease a plot arc and let it dangle for so long.
The second episode was sort of disappointing without Elliot, Hardison, and Parker.
I wish they had switched them so that the more awesome episode was the "finale." I did end up liking the Nate/Sophie episode more than I expected as it went on, but the Eliot/Hardison/Parker episode was great, thrilling and exciting and, well, full of Eliot and Hardison and Parker.
And I'm beginning to wish I could see Mark Sheppard play something other than the Mark Sheppard, I guess it is, in everything.
Well, he has a thing, and he's good at doing that thing. Like Adam Baldwin.
I knew Sophie was Ma Mystere,
Oh God, that makes so much more sense. I thought the painting was called Mama's Stair.
Sterling: "I didn't think that would work!" LOL
That cracked me up.
Both these episodes also made me want to yell at showrunners who feel the need to angst up couple drama all the time. I'm glad they've let Parker & Hardison and Nate & Sophie just...be couples.
