Just rewatched the Hardison/Eliot neck grab. Still intense even when you're expecting it.
'Sleeper'
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I am catching up on White Collar, and my goodness, that bit where Neal and Elizabeth choreographed the fake sex between Peter and Sarah? Dirty!
Indeed.
Jones in glasses. Mm mm good.
Dirty!
In all the best possible ways.
Oh, I'm not complaining. I'm mostly impressed.
mmm, dirty
I'm glad they've let Parker & Hardison and Nate & Sophie just...be couples.
Yes! When Sophie mentioned they'd been sleeping together for two years, I thought "good for you!" and also good for us, that there wasn't sturm and drang about it once they hooked up, and that the show didn't tank for something as stupid as that (I still seriously cannot understand why people think a show with strong writing and characterisation should fall prey to the misnamed Moonlighting Curse).
I am sad about Eliot's hair, and I will miss it, but I won't deny that this is more flattering. But I liked his hair as an independent entity (it had the right to vote, didn't it?), as opposed to as part of his look.
The opening of the first ep was some *hot* competence porn on the part of our OT3. That shit was TIGHT. However, laser grid gymnastics have to go, and I take some comfort in the knowledge that if it was just up to John we'd never see them again.
I liked the amped up action and intensity of the first one, but that's because of my Hardison thing...I want what he wants, I'm upset about what upsets him. So when he runs and then Eliot pulls him back with that intense conviction? ita ! is all in.
But the second one was sweet and fun, and as long as he's sparingly used, this is about the only place I can remotely deal with Mark Sheppard anymore. More than once a half season (like, if he figures into an arc...god forbid) is too much for me. We metatextually know that Stirling never loses, but he also never beats our team. Fine. Keep him in that narrow space.
When Sophie mentioned they'd been sleeping together for two years, I thought "good for you!"
I thought, "Huh!" Because honestly it's been unclear to me how actually couple-y they've been since they woke up in bed together. They're not as obviously couple-y as Parker and Hardison, so I wasn't entirely sure they weren't in some ambiguous friends-with-benefits space in all this time.
I am sad about Eliot's hair, and I will miss it.
...Did Eliot cut his hair?? How did I completely not notice that?
I have no idea what you were looking at for an hour, but I was crying inside the whole time: [link]
::sniff::
I felt that they'd been decently clear that Nate and Sophie have been sleeping together regularly and probably exclusively for a while now. It's not always as front and centre as it was in the dating scam ep, but it's felt like it's there--and if they'd stopped, it'd have been a plot point.
Yeah, the Hair, the HAIR!
But it does look good on him like this. I'm just going to believe that in some universe somewhere, the Hair is doing its own spinoff.
Unrelatedly? Adam Baldwin is playing a radio Twilight Zone character in my living room right now. Something the SO brought home from the library.
