Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

Because books.

Haven't his eyes always been that blue? I thought they were. I love the haircut. It was starting to look early Mary Tyler Moore before.

The second episode was sort of disappointing without Elliot, Hardison, and Parker. And I'm beginning to wish I could see Mark Sheppard play something other than the Mark Sheppard, I guess it is, in everything.

I like the separate parallel adventures for the summer finale. This one, anyway. sj is right, it fits the season so far.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Loved both episodes. Parker/Hardison/Elliot all bringing their best game, and Elliot looks really good with short hair. I knew Sophie was Ma Mystere, and I figured out the mystery, so I'm proud of myself.

Sterling: "I didn't think that would work!" LOL

yeah, I figured it out, too. And as soon as the curator died at the pool, I remembered that the son had gone to art school. Only thing is that if he was really after the money, why didn't he take it when the lawyer said that his dad was going to put him back in the will?

Because he'd already stolen most of the art and stolen art money is better than inherited money.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I recognized Adam Baldwin's voice immediately. I had wondered why they would have just gotten him for a random flashback cameo before.

Not a lot of the whole team working together, almost no progress on whatever Nate is hiding, and I feel like not much has really happened.

I agree. I don't mind the different spin on the episodes, as it keeps it from getting stale and formulaic, but the lack of progress on whatever Nate is hiding is irritating. Don't tease a plot arc and let it dangle for so long.

The second episode was sort of disappointing without Elliot, Hardison, and Parker.

I wish they had switched them so that the more awesome episode was the "finale." I did end up liking the Nate/Sophie episode more than I expected as it went on, but the Eliot/Hardison/Parker episode was great, thrilling and exciting and, well, full of Eliot and Hardison and Parker.

And I'm beginning to wish I could see Mark Sheppard play something other than the Mark Sheppard, I guess it is, in everything.

Well, he has a thing, and he's good at doing that thing. Like Adam Baldwin.

I knew Sophie was Ma Mystere,

Oh God, that makes so much more sense. I thought the painting was called Mama's Stair.

Sterling: "I didn't think that would work!" LOL

That cracked me up.

Both these episodes also made me want to yell at showrunners who feel the need to angst up couple drama all the time. I'm glad they've let Parker & Hardison and Nate & Sophie just...be couples.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I thought the painting was called Mama's Stair.

That's where watching with the subtitles on helps a lot.

I did notice the pseuds that Nate & Sophie were using were Smith and Tennant. :-)

This. Nice to see they went all out on the action episode (apart from Vortex's valid complaint about the "Metro").

They needed one of the other team members to be there to be Eccleston.

Wasn't that Sophie and Sterling? Either way, cute!
