Watching the latest White Collar, the thing that pulled me out of the fantasy was transferring $50 million from two peoples' bank accounts to Neal's bank account in milliseconds.
Is that the first time you've seen that TV trope? It's used all the time on Leverage and I know I've seen it elsewhere as well.
I had expected that if it's 50 million, they work out a way for it to happen quickly.
It doesn't take me three days to transfer between banks, though. Bank Of America offers three transfer speeds to me, at the lowest rung of their accounts--same business day, next business day, three business days.
So, no, I don't find the White Collar premise too plausibility stretching, given that they probably have all sorts of perks on top of that I could never dream of.

No, it's just the first time I've bothered to mention it!

It's entirely possible that PNCBank just sucks that much. Also, I've never had to transfer millions. Maybe that's easier.
I can transfer between my accounts at different banks instantly. I've never tried $50 million though.
Just watched Suits--I am loving the law company chess match this program is. Luckily, probably, I don't know what's realistic and what's not (although, thankfully, they did lampshade Jessica's outfits, so my suspicions there were borne out), so I can go along with every scenario they set up--even if the factual issues are wrong, the emotions are engaging.
And, seriously--great move by Daniel there at the end--I don't believe that Harvey did the wrong thing, but he pretty much gave Daniel the ammo he required, even more than if there hadn't been both the holdout and the subject. The only way he couldn't have called for that vote would have been if she'd gotten them to decide to go trial. Unfortunately, what Harvey needs internally is at odds with what Jessica needs, while Harvey is the
person
Jessica needs to most.
Rifts upon rifts at crosspurposes.
And, seeing Gina Torres play a decisive, incisive lawyer at trial (even mock) is pretty hella cool.
I'm liking Suits more and more all the time.

I was a bit disappointed that, given how well everyone else played everyone else this episode, that Harvey didn't see that one coming. I did.
I especially likes the use of Donna this episode. I love the actress and thought she did a great job as the less polished/confident 'civilian.' She has many more freckles outside the office!
While I hated Lewis last season...by design, of course...I'm really enjoying him now. He's odious, but that character has excellent internal consistency.
The mock trial was appropriately squirmy, but I was disappointed by the "
Do you love Harvey?
" derivative of
A Few Good Men
. Primarily because I don't think it can go anywhere satisfying and, therefore, will probably be dropped.
I saw the actor playing Daniel Hartman play the EXACT same character on another cable show. And, by exact, I mean same expression, inflections, wardrobe, dialog. I seriously had to check to see if it was a cross-over.
I wonder how he feels about being being typecast as such a limited-use character.

Cosigned.
I laughed at the dress lampshade, but I actually look forward to her wardrobe every week. It's a highlight of the show!
I am PARALYZED with love for Leverage right now. "Two good ol' boys behind the wheel, chasing down bad guys in Lucille"
I want the chase music for a ring tone.
YES.
Oh my god, the Men in Black outfits.
Willie Riker! With Jonathan Frakes directing, of course.
