If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

This fool can really sing. I’m never quite prepared for it.

Huh. I find him totally forgettable every week.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Huh. I find him totally forgettable every week.

Me too.

Jason - too breathy and had pitch problems. Carly has a big voice, it fills the stage. That's what you need to do if you want to be a star. She'll always sound good, but I feel like she could do even better.

Because books.

Me, three. I have no love whatsoever for David.

And see, I think Carly's got great charisma. She's friendly and engaging and really open.

The charisma thing is likely what it all comes down to for me with Carly. That and I feel like she almost wants it too much.

I do, however, "get" her more than I get whatever it is that's kept Amanda there.

Fast forwarded through David Cook after 10 seconds. Brooke did a nice job of "Let It Be" but it's iconic, you just don't do it until you're already a huge star. And she's really got a country voice. It wasn't bad for this song, but there are other songs out there that would show her voice off better.

Really, Kristy? Seriously?

Randy said it for me about David. Too much going on. His voice, which is actually fairly good, got lost in all the bouncing around. Which is funny, because Chikezie did the same thing, yet it worked for him!

Because books.

That was weird, with Kristy. It could have been cute, but the band played way too fast for her, and it all sounded off. Strange.

Amanda should have tried out for the lead singer of INXS. Seriously, she's wasted on this show. They want pop with a bit of grit. This girl is hard fucking rock. She needs a band behind her, a huge stage to prowl and a stadium rocking out to it all.
