Thank God for Comcast OnDemand--I too have been sucked into America's Test Kitchen, due to its availability for me to watch when I want. They're sooo helpful with their suggestions and show everything. Love the equipment comparisons as well as the food tastings, too.

Art Crawl!!!

I love America's Test Kitchen. I fear that I missed the all important Cookie Jar episode.

Hey, I've been seeing ads for a BBCA reality show called "Last Restaurant Standing" - between that and Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares - I am amazed at the number of people who dream of running a restaurant.

Punishingly Intricate

For some reason I can't stop watching the Biggest Loser this season. It's so annoying! I don't get how anybody but a really big guy would ever have a hope of winning it.

But I did love the biggest guy, Trent, doing yoga last night. His form was really beautiful.

Tyra has a new show:

"It is a competition show about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine," Mok said. "At the same time they're trying to prove themselves as aspiring fashionistas, that they have a sense of style and savvyness, all the things to make it in the fashion world."

In each episode, the contestants will compete in two challenges, an individual competition and a team competition, in which each squad will submit a page for "The Book," a mock edition of the magazine. The losing team's page will end up in the trash, and one of its team members will be eliminated. The page from the other team will be included in "The Book." The winner of the competition will land a job in the fashion industry.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Random PR note: According to a commenter on Project Rungay, the Levi's challenge outfits are all on display at Levi Strauss Plaza here in SF. The commenter reported that (a) they're all unbelievably tiny, and (b) they all look incredibly well constructed. I may have to go on a lunchtime field trip sometime this week.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

(b) they all look incredibly well constructed.

Er, even Jillian's? Which was held together with glue?

And sadly - no new PR this week. I don't know why.

No, Jillian's was gross. The others, better than expected, including Ricky's, which apparently looks much better in person than it did on TV.
