Random PR note: According to a commenter on Project Rungay, the Levi's challenge outfits are all on display at Levi Strauss Plaza here in SF. The commenter reported that (a) they're all unbelievably tiny, and (b) they all look incredibly well constructed. I may have to go on a lunchtime field trip sometime this week.
(b) they all look incredibly well constructed.
Er, even Jillian's? Which was held together with glue?
Ooh, report back!!
And sadly - no new PR this week. I don't know why.
No, Jillian's was gross. The others, better than expected, including Ricky's, which apparently looks much better in person than it did on TV.
JZ wins for the best typo!
Project Rungay
(laughing) truly. not a typo.
"It is a competition show about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine," Mok said. "At the same time they're trying to prove themselves as aspiring fashionistas, that they have a sense of style and savvyness, all the things to make it in the fashion world."
There was already a show like this. Except less cheesy. The Fashionista Diaries on Soapnet. Oh, Tyra. Stealing from Soapnet? Tsk tsk tsk.
America's Ballroom Challenge - Marilu Henner is out in favor of Jasmine Guy. I like Jasmine Guy a lot better for some reason. She seems to comment with more substance.
Tony's replacement (Ron Montez) is absolutely awesome. His analysis is really great.
