Nick still can't salt his food, but wins? No one is going to convince me this season wasn't rigged in some way. I think I'm done with this show.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Liese, did you watch this week's Face Off? I'm interested to get your opinion of the Guitar Gods.
Nick still can't salt his food, but wins? No one is going to convince me this season wasn't rigged in some way. I think I'm done with this show.
I didn't get rigged so much as I got These are my prejudices, let me show them to you, over and over again.
Sure. Without a series of inexplicable Nick saves, they might've had to go through the back half of the season with no white men at all. What kind of competition would that be?
I would love to see reactions from any of the many, many people who've been booted for under-seasoning.
I did not! What did I miss?
The challenge was to make a Rock God character that was becoming one with a guitar - they were provided the guitars as inspiration. The winning look was super weird but pretty cool and an interesting idea, and the other top look was really great. I thought you might have a more educated opinion than I can manage...
TC this season was a JOKE. Fucking Nick, man.
I know it didn't work out for her in the end, but I kind of appreciated the portrayal of the woman having the panic attack on Face Off. "Are you OK?" "No." and it taking her some time to work through, but working through it. And in the end, the issue was her concept, not having lost worktime or anything.
I agree with all that. Her partner impressed me, too. Before this episode I only liked him for his hair.
Also, I love how pretty much whenever anyone has to go home they talk about what they are going to do next with what they've learned from being in the competition or what they're going to work on.
Good job, Face Off producers! On both counts, right? They must be prompted on those exit interviews.
