I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I agree with all that. Her partner impressed me, too. Before this episode I only liked him for his hair.

Also, I love how pretty much whenever anyone has to go home they talk about what they are going to do next with what they've learned from being in the competition or what they're going to work on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good job, Face Off producers! On both counts, right? They must be prompted on those exit interviews.

Gotta figure, yeah.

I finally started watching Under the Gunn, and I really like it! It could use more Tim Gunn, but couldn't everything? I don't think I really get how the competition will work, but the mentor's picking designers for their teams has been riveting so far.

And it reminded me how much I like Mondo's clothes, so I'm getting myself this dress [link] for my birthday. Whee!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am digging Face Off this season. The casting is pretty good.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Is that the thing where one group lives in primitive conditions while the other group lives in a high tech paradise and they compete Survivor style? I just saw a commercial that finally made me understand how it was even supposed to be working. If I stumbled across it while flipping channels, I'd probably watch, but I don't even know what channel it's on or when it's supposed to start.

I've seen the ads on SyFy but I haven't paid enough attention to understand how it works. Not really intrigued by it.

I really like this week's Face Off challenge. We got some subpar makeups out of it, but the good ones were super creepy and the idea of "make the creature that casts this shadow" is great. I love that Corinne's decision to forget the mold and do a great paint job worked out so well for her.

I think I might recommend the show if you can catch it. It is strangely compelling (Opposite Worlds). It is like Big Brother with a few twists. I'm kind of digging it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Caught the first few episodes. The first challenge combined the over-elaborateness of BB with the disregard for safety of Survivor and resulted in two people being pulled for injuries (one came back). Of note, those injuries were not related to the electric cattle prods the teams were outfitted with for the challenge.

But it's not bad. No one completely odious, which is always a plus.

One question - is Frank related to BB Jesse, the body-building tool? They look a lot alike. Frank after the first couple of episodes seems to be considerable less toolish.
