I love that Courtney and Kathryn were bridesmaids.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love them! The only thing I don't love is that their daughter's name is Weslie.

Jesse,

that is her daughter by a previous relationship, just to clarify. He had nothing to do with the name!

Oh, I know it's not Twitch's fault! (But I do like that he refers to her as "my daughter." Sweet.)

It took me longer than I planned (and it was not that easy), but I finally did a round-up of all 10 SYTYCD seasons, with my Top 5 in ballroom, contemporary/jazz, and hip hop along with a whole slew of other categories.

Season 5 got the most love, but Seasons 9 & 8 held their own, coming in next with the most mentions, before Season 2, which was a complete surprise to me. I was also pretty surprised how far behind Season 4 was overall. I guess the individuals were greater than the appeal of their dances.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I have not seen the first episode of The Sing Off yet because I am buried under all the stuff on my DVR, but I did watch the TAR finale and was happy with the Boston win. They were uniformly pleasant and mostly delightful the entire race. Maybe not the most exciting of winners ever, but unobjectionable. I never did warm up to Marie. I didn't think she got less obnoxious, just that she had fewer people to be obnoxious to and those people left didn't really let her get under their skins. I will admit that she was a hell of a racer, and I still like Tim. I wish he could've done the race with a more pleasant person. The ones I really wound up disliking, though, were Travis and Nicole. Nicole really sucked ass at tasks, and not just at the end when she might have been able to blame it on KF, but pretty much all the way through. And Travis just seems like a terrible, terrible husband. So belittling and unsupportive. Ugh. And they were moralizing hypocrites to boot. So glad that they didn't win. Their final chat with Phil was crazy uncomfortable.

Now, I am going to dig into megan walker's SYTYCD list. Sooo excited. S4 was totally a triumph of personality and charisma over choreography. It also ushered in the NappyTab reign of terror over hip hop choreo on the show. I rue the day that I rhapsodized over Bleeding Love.
