Christopher Scott, man. Love. I'm sure they danced it well, but I kind of lose the dancers watching his choreography - in a thoroughly enjoyable way but my critical faculties go into a bit of a fugue state.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Can I just say, it is pretty awesome to be able to open a couple of tabs of the browser, fire up the DVR and pause after every routine to read y'all said about it. I was vaguely feeling like I should put more effort into watching live, but I might like this way better!
Mom thought Cat looked adorable and that it wasn't that bad compared to some of the past looks.
I couldn't figure out what was going on with Cher's hair. Weird. Mom's comment about the song was, "She doesn't have to worry about forgetting the lyrics."
I don't know what the contractual obligations are for the non winning Voice contestants but I really hope that Usher both has the ability and the desire to continue to work with Michelle and help launch her career. He really seemed to enjoy working with her.
Plus it would make up for Justin Beiber.
Has anybody found a reliable youtube user or recapper with video links for SYTYCD this year? Signed, reading kat is lovely but not enough, and I cannot get my act together to watch.
Flea, my dvr no longer can pick up my cable signal, so I can't record, and these sites have been good so far: [link] and [link]
I second Ms. J's Blog and Buddy TV as good spots to find videos. Rickey.org is also pretty good.

I could get with that so long as we acknowledge that's a really low bar given some of Cat's cracked out past looks. And honestly, monkey crack influenced wardrobe choices are part of the fabric of SYTYCD. My musings would be much shorter if I couldn't complain about them.
A really really low bar.
One point in Cat Deely's favor - she doesn't indulge in hair-flinging. I'm just saying ...
That reminds me I had a question -
Why do the girls have their hair loose and flinging all over the place in rehearsals? I would think they'd want it up away from the face.
Yeah, most studios have a rule about having hair pulled back in class. In addition to it flopping in your face all the time, it makes it hard for the teacher to really give corrections if he/she can't see the position of the head/neck/shoulders, alignment, all that good stuff. I'm thinking maybe they get asked to leave their hair down because it looks better on camera? I don't know.
