I would love a second chance blind audition round with the best of the best from any season who got knocked out during battle rounds. Especially with Shakira and Usher as judges because lots of those folks would be brand new for them.
There was that party-song guy who sang his own song, but that barely counts. The Cupid Shuffle, I think?
But that was just sad because dude sounded terrible and didn't even get anyone to turn their chair around, right? I think it would be hilarious to have X-tina or Cee-Lo come back not as judges again but just as a one off to punk the judges and see who they could get to turn around.
So glad Project Runway turned out the way it did.
From last night's The Voice, unrelated to the actual competition, I like that Orlando gets to be "the classically trained singer who wants to give his mom a better life." He doesn't have to be one thing or the other -- "trying to get up from the streets" or "conservatory-trained." (SYTYCD, I'M LOOKING AT YOU.)
Also, I get mad when they have backup singers.
I never understood that on Idol, either. I want to hear the contestant!
Man, I will never not love "Drift Away."
Also, I agree with Adam that letting go of the guy who sang Teenage Dream was a travesty.
I thought that was a really wild choice, and really well done. Although it did take me a minute to figure out what song he was singing.
When does SYTYCD come back, anyone know?
