Oh yay, finally caught up with both last night's SYTYCD (which I finally watched) and the east coast (for the results!)

I can't say I"m super bummed about the results--at this point, really the people I care about are Sasha and Melanie and Marko. I liked Jordan too, but clearly she wasn't going to win, so ah well.

As for last night's stuff...I watched it all so quickly, and the things sticking in my head: Quickstep? Do they want to vote her out? I loved Caitlin's vintage hair. Sasha and Melanie are fierce. OMG I MISS IVAN!! Why no Mark?

...now to go quickly read and remember. :)

From other people's comments:

Full disclosure – the choreo was kind of elementary, 1-and-2-and (re: Ivan and Caitlin)

I did kind of wonder, especially compared to some of the stuff later. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. Mostly because IVAN!

Tadd and Lauren/Jazz/Mandee Moore/Another One Bites the Dust – Ok, I’m loving MJ Tadd. And it’s TBC.

I did not miss her at all...but still enjoyed the heck out of this number (after having to close my ears for Total Eclipse...Lord, Mandy, change the station on the radio or something!)

And Gaga calling out Caitlyn on the competition kid habits was genius. She’s growing on me on the panel. Still a little too over the top and long winded, but she knows what she’s talking about.

I was kinda surprised at this--she had some actual critiques! I sure liked her way better than the other guy.

How is Marko such a crazy good hip hop dancer? This fool is ridiculous.

LOVED this number...but would've killed to see Marko and Alex Wong do this!

The "Sasha Fierce" thing made me laugh because I totally thought along those lines a few weeks ago. Loved her and Melanie.

Wardrobe - are they the people we can blame for dance "costumes" consisting of underwear (and, sometimes, diapers)?

There was at least one outfit on a girl that totally looked like a diaper. I dont' remember who it was because it so distracted me from her face--it was almost undewear, but then it was POOFY in the lower abdomen region. Just WRONG.

Loved LXD, it was awesome.

She has a job with the Pussycat Dolls, she'll be fine.

This was also my thought, much as I surprisingly ended up liking her quite a lot.

And I too was sad at lack of Mark, and lack of someone calling out the awesomeness of Mark. :)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

There's no way she performed *tonight* so I wonder if that's why no shoutout to Mark, as there should have been, over and over. She's on Kimmel tonight, which I'm taping.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, really? I was wondering why Cat wasn't all "Look, it's Mark!" all over the place.

i'm in agreement with the judges on the eliminations. The girls' solos were both blah but Jordan was worse yesterday. I just like Tadd better than Jess, no justification.

Now to watch Project Runway! I hope the casting special will mean less annoying backstory during the competition.

Project Runway seems to have gotten rid of the stuff that was bugging me so much last season, so that's good. I like the first challenge, appropriately weird.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

t, based on your sole recommendation, I will watch the first episode.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Is the list of All Stars performing on SYTYCD next week considered a spoiler? Because I'm really excited about a couple of them!

It's still an hour and a half long, but it doesn't feel nearly as bloated. I don't think I fast-forwarded through any of it!

I'm not in love with any of the designers yet, but that's normal for so early, I think.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I do not like this 90-minute format. As a general matter, I mean, not PR specific. Primarily because it makes Tivo conflicts much harder to resolve because they conflict with more shows and don't rerun as often or as soon. (Factoid totally unrelated to my current grump: I forgot to record this one and won't get to until Saturday AM.)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Loved Tadd's solo--that'll be on my best-of dvd for the season. As much as I like Jess's style, his solo was just a rehash of his audition, and he needed to do something that would wow the judges, not the same-ol'-stuff. The girls were both very meh, and I'm hoping that Jordan was eliminated because of her constant reliance on HMV. So tired of her leg extensions!

PR: Excellent challenge! All the snarking about the winner's boxers were confusing me, though--wouldn't they have a washer and dryer there for them to use?
