Because books.

Yeah, the ninety-minute thing is just not right. I don't mind if it's a one-off for the first episode of something, but otherwise, no.

I like Bert so far! He made by far the most interesting, cutest, and most polished garment last night.

Rafael reminded me of Andre 3000, which I just realized this morning.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's who Rafael reminds me of! I was trying to work it out all episode but I thought it was, like, someone I knew.

I agree, 90 minutes is clown shoes. And I like Bert, that dress was really cute. I am amazed that Anya figured out how to make those pants just "using common sense".

This is the greatest thing ever. I'm going to say this ALL THE TIME now. "NetFlix price hike? Clown shoes." "No Mark shout-out on Dance? Clown shoes." LOVE.

Anya is really impressive. I hope she can continue to pull it out, at least for a while. Those pants were really well made.

I can't take credit, it's from Jay and Silent Bob, but I can attest it's a useful phrase in a variety of situations.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I agree with Amy. I love that phrase. I am going to use it too!

Oh, apparently S7 Ashley danced with LXD last night! Pretty sure that's her in the yellow skirt. [link]

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Last night they showed a clip backstage of Marko and his mother, after he'd said his bit about her. They were both crying - so sweet.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I'm so over Tasty and his non-choreographing ass. Mia did the circus themed dance already in S4 with Mark in the middle shutting it down. His routine was never going to be as good as that, so just why? Why must he continually bite off of his betters. Oh, Tasty. That said, the kids killed in that routine because this top 8 is just a little bit magic.

I was as shocked as Ricky that he made it through. Ha! Suck on that, Nigel. If you hadn't been on a season long kick to only criticize Ricky and Mitchell, you wouldn't have had the sympathy backlash bite you in the ass. I thought both Jess and Tadd's solos last night were wonderous. I wish we could've kept them both and sent the two girls home instead. Both those solos were ridonk and I'm glad the judges called them out. Caitlyn's was much, much worse but she had a better performance night so . . . Neither of these girls had any chance of winning anyway, so it's just a question of who went this week and who's going next week. And I can't say I'll be sad to see the end of Jordan's weird boob ornaments. She's so talented and yet she chooses to dance like a stripper. It's mystifying.

MARK! Mohawk Mark!! I want more Mark. That is all.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

At least last night's boob ornaments went from one boob to the other instead of just hanging off the left one (why does that one get so much attention, is the right boob not worthy?).

Marko's dance didn't make me cry, but all the crying and emotion after had me sobbing. Geeeesh.

I've seen Caitlyn and Jordan and being not on the same level as the others (both boys and girls). But at this point, they've weeded out the people who couldn't maintain a high level of technique in a range of styles, so it's a matter of picking the best of the best. Jess had a high level of technical skill, but his solo WAS a repeat of his audition. And I'll give him credit for not dancing in underwear, but maybe if he'd changed the costume it might not have been so obvious.
