Well, as with anything "bready", wouldn't the pasta reheat better in a pan than a microwave?

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I've only make the Bertollis in a pan. I tried it once in the microwave but it didn't heat as evenly.
This is more a statement on the quality of my 10 year old inherited microwave than on their dishes. I don't use my microwave for anything, really, except frozen vegetables.
Maybe I would agree more about Sarah being let go if I didn't find Howie just so annoying with his refusal fo communicate with her at all.
Oh, I'm sure it's better, I just think it's funny that "you feel like you're cooking" is a selling point.
SYTYCD:
Did anyone else feel like they were being manipulated by the whole build up to Mia's dance?
I would have liked the dance better if I hadn't known what Mia intended.
The buildup almost ruined the dance altogether for me. And then when they kept hammering on about it afterwards was even worse. I had to consciously push that out of my mind in order to like the dance at all. Even so, I agree that there was not enough dancing. But I noticed that in several of the dances this time. Were the dances shorter? Or was it really just the choreography?

The key to reheating pasta in a microwave is to heat at lower temp for longer. Then it turns out just fine.
Were the dances shorter? Or was it really just the choreography?
I think it was a bit of both. The dances were shorter, so the ones with longer pauses or less continuous movement seemed even shorter.
I didn't love the sound of Tre and CJ's dish and agree that I would never call anything truffle "Mediterranean".
I don't understand why one ingredient makes it not mediterranean. It was parmesan, tomato and kale, which are all meditrranean. Do mediterranean people use ground turkey? I think that this issue is kind of specious. I did love the little pissing match that Collicchio and Rocco got into behind it, though.
So did I.
I'm not sure why truffles aren't mediterranean. It's a regional Italian ingredient and isn't that what the best of Italian cuisine does? Make excellent use of local ingredients?
