Survivor:
a couple of things didn't make sense (and I blame editing, etc.) for it:
a) why did the group decide to cook the chickens when it looks like they all had food at the reward challenge.
b) Jeff said in his column at EW that he thinks John should have shared the pie. What do you all think?
c) why didn't they tell us how the chicken tasted after it was cooked? It was a serious bone of contention, but no discussion of the result?
a) Not everyone got food. And why cook both chickens together? Why not one now and one later?
b) It is more politic to share. Buy some good will. But I don't blame him for wanting to keep what he bought.
c) ITA. Inquiring minds want to know! I'm surprised Jeff didn't bring it up at tribal.
Suzi, well thanks! I thought everyone did. You are right that they should have saved one for later. I mean really.
Probably like chicken soup, no?
Hee--I was just looking through the TWOP thread for this week's performance ep, and saw someone's imagined footage of Sonja explaining the dance to Ellenore and Jakob:
Sonya: OK, for this part it's like Dante's Inferno, but performed by carnies.
Ellenore, nodding: I see that. So, really guh-guh-guh-bang!
Sonya: Right, but with big sweeping themes of pain and betrayal. And sprinkles!
Ellenore: Got it.
Jakob: (Pause) So...I jump?
Ha! Love.
I just showed the LXD dance to the SO who was very impressed.
I just showed mr. flea! But the processor on this machine is too old, and it was herky-jerky. Have to try the netbook later.
Those two guys in grey sweaters who, like, slide over the floor and pop up onto one hand just SLAY me.

Yeah, what?
b) Jeff said in his column at EW that he thinks John should have shared the pie. What do you all think?
I don't think so. If nothing else, it wasn't like there was pie for everyone - he'd have had to pick and choose and does that ever go well?
why didn't they tell us how the chicken tasted after it was cooked? It was a serious bone of contention, but no discussion of the result?
I know! Did she ruin the chicken or not? I rewound the Tivo to see if I'd missed it.
(My vote: hell yes. Two hours at a hard boil? But I get what I assume was her point about boiling it so that they can then drink up all the fat and nutrients rather than give them to the fire. Mind you, she never said what she was doing, so god knows what her actual reason was.)
You know what would be awesome? Being able to create a dream SYTYCD season, so we could see Ellenore and Mark doing a Sonja piece.
Oooh. I like the way you think.
