"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

information libertarian

I just showed mr. flea! But the processor on this machine is too old, and it was herky-jerky. Have to try the netbook later.

Those two guys in grey sweaters who, like, slide over the floor and pop up onto one hand just SLAY me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Survivor:

a) why did the group decide to cook the chickens when it looks like they all had food at the reward challenge.

Yeah, what?

b) Jeff said in his column at EW that he thinks John should have shared the pie. What do you all think?

I don't think so. If nothing else, it wasn't like there was pie for everyone - he'd have had to pick and choose and does that ever go well?

why didn't they tell us how the chicken tasted after it was cooked? It was a serious bone of contention, but no discussion of the result?

I know! Did she ruin the chicken or not? I rewound the Tivo to see if I'd missed it.

(My vote: hell yes. Two hours at a hard boil? But I get what I assume was her point about boiling it so that they can then drink up all the fat and nutrients rather than give them to the fire. Mind you, she never said what she was doing, so god knows what her actual reason was.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know what would be awesome? Being able to create a dream SYTYCD season, so we could see Ellenore and Mark doing a Sonja piece.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oooh. I like the way you think.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And then we could see Jakob and Janette dance together!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

But I get what I assume was her point about boiling it so that they can then drink up all the fat and nutrients rather than give them to the fire.

Right, and all the bone marrow too. Even the hard boil wasn't a bad idea, because it allowed the fat to distribute throughout the soup.

Shouldn't we be about due for All-Stars soon?

More and more, I hate the way the auctions work. Hate the covered things. Hate that they can't decide to share food or money. Hate the ending suddenly.

Did Russell really not buy anything? I thought at the very least he would want the non-food items, or, rather, not want anyone else to have them.

And for once I agree with Jeff: I can't wait to see what happens next.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Did Russell really not buy anything?

Not that I recall. I don't even remember him bidding on anything. Surprised me too.
