But I get what I assume was her point about boiling it so that they can then drink up all the fat and nutrients rather than give them to the fire.
Right, and all the bone marrow too. Even the hard boil wasn't a bad idea, because it allowed the fat to distribute throughout the soup.

More and more, I hate the way the auctions work. Hate the covered things. Hate that they can't decide to share food or money. Hate the ending suddenly.
Did Russell really not buy anything? I thought at the very least he would want the non-food items, or, rather, not want anyone else to have them.

...and this is why Erika and Brian won't win TAR -- the freaking out does not help.

Oh yay, I was wrong. From the promo the clip of the brothers running looked so totally like a finish line run that I was getting anxious at the end.
