not surprising. no one would put up with that shit. and it's way overwrought and contrived, like when Feldman and Susie were making out in the hot tub and Haim just showed up and got in.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
BB: This whole season is just the crying game.
Duncan is turning out to be a lot more ruthless than I thought he would be.
I like that.
Top Chef: YahooTV has a bit of the quickfire.
argh my stupid cable has been acting up (as in, I'm not getting about 1/2 the channels or the OnDemand) and I'm not getting it fixed until Saturday (when I'm getting rid of stupid Comcast and getting DirectTV). So I don't think I'll be able to watch Top Chef tonight! WAH!
BB: This whole season is just the crying game.
Seriously. It's like they forgot to do psychological screenings on the contestants this season.
Amber is ridiculous. She's going to dehydrate herself.
So over that. And Dick. I've turned completely around and now I want Jen to win.
Jen has definitely grown on me over the past few episodes. Not saying I would want to have to live with her because she's annoying as hell, but as the rest are showing themselves to be equally, if not more annoying, what has she really done? Dare to play the game? She was smart to put up Dick and Danielle. Dick's just a big bully.
And, sumi, I watched the Las Vegas episode of Design Star. Even got the hubby to watch it with me. Overall, I liked it. I wasn't so sure at the beginning, but it had me drawn in by the end.
Did you watch the first season? Because even given the limited knowledge we have, I think this season's contestants are better than season 1.
re: Design Star
I noticed that, this year, the judges are only judging based on what they see on TV. Was that always the case? I feel like there were walk throughs last year, though I could be confusing it with the other design show.
ETA: Also, I hope the season 3 contestants will finally wise up and realize that if you do a quirky art project for your first challenge, you will go home. It's like the Design Star equivalent of doing dessert on Top Chef.
