So, first of all, my computer is alive again! Well, not exactly, since it's a different computer. But most of my stuff was copied to it, I didn't lose everything, and slowly and gradually I'm house-breaking it to become my computer, rather than just "a" working computer. So that's good.

And now, since I will probably not have and computer access tomorrow anyway, even though there's already a computer to access again, I can post that according to Jon B. "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Jun 2, 2005 6:29:58 pm PDT, tomorrow, June 1, will be Jon and FAQwife's anniversary, and to wish them both a great day and a wonderful year together.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Punishingly Intricate

Every chapter starts with the wee mouse peeking out from the top of the page.

HEE! SO cute!!! Love the cover too!

Hi, Nilly!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you have a computer back anyway and that you didn't lose anything.

I accepted a job offer to work for a company in Fells Point. Which will make my commute oh about 1/2 as long as it currently is if not shorter. Now I have to work up the nerve to tell my boss. There will be tears. Mine anyway.

In more fun news, my band may be playing in Las Vegas in August at this great big rollerderby convention thing. Am beyond excited at the prospect!!!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Between my boss and I, we've been on hold with Comcast for over three hours.

I've been calling the east coast for technical support for days. Because some users don't seem to understand the concept of calling technical support themselves. Despite the fact that I am in no way connected to their problem.

NOT YR SYSADMIN KTHX.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Comcast bought out Time Warner in our area, so we technically have to switch over to them for our internet. I have heard horror stories. I am not looking forward to it. I mean, it's hard to believe they could be worse than TW, but still, horror stories.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats on the new job, lisah! And the fancy Vegas gig!

Yay for the new computer, Nilly!

I think I may die before my 1pm meeting. My office is imploding all around me. I heard a rumor that my boss is going to take a month of medical leave, but she hasn't told me that yet, and it's killing me.
