Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Theo, I agree with you. I also think that nail polish should last longer, but I may be forced to give on that one.

This is a lovely picture, and reading through the change notes makes me smile because it seems to be the point of Wikipedia, which is cool. Also the phrase "Ida moons" appears in the text, and that makes me laugh.

Okay, mail read. I'm so glad that none of the meetings was to have led Friday were rescheduled to Monday.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Sadly, I didn't -- I was in the middle of New Jersey and lost track of time and the train schedule in the morning. Whoops.

Oh that's too bad. I'm still bummed about the flight delay that caused me to cancel, especially when my "building bookshelves and unpacking the last of my boxes" project got sidetracked by my own stupidity.

In other news, it feels very strange to be on board time now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. I never knew there was an Ida asteroid.

OK, the link I just posted has sponsored links. This is weird:

Earth Orbit
Free Shipping Both Ways at Zappos All Types of Shoes - Huge Selection
www.Zappos.com

OK, "Earth Orbit" is a brand of boot. But the above makes it sound like Zappos has free shipping to and from earth orbit. For shoes, anyway.

I thought Zappos was going to ship me earth orbit. Which has a nice circular (eta: I guess I mean elliptical, huh?) impossibility to it.

Still, now I want new boots.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

This is also a pretty Wikipedia picture: [link]

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm earwormed with Tom Jones singing "Sex Bomb," only now as "Gay Bomb."

And now I'm imagining Maggie Simpson doing the robot to "Gay Bomb" (as in quite possibly my favorite throwaway bit from the Simpsons).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That Pentagon thing came out like two years ago. Why is suddenly popping up all over the place I wonder?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That Pentagon thing came out like two years ago. Why is suddenly popping up all over the place I wonder?

The Pentagon just got around to confirming the story.
