Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Let's see...

Vortex, I'm so sorry that you aren't in your new place yet. That must be deeply frustrating for you.

Aimee, I'm touched by your boss but am echoing GC's concern about making sure that you don't stay for less than what the other job is offering. I know it's the nice thing to do, and I know that you like your boss a lot...but I also know that you desperately want to be able to afford to get your own place one of these days. Also, isn't the other job the one you were so excited about? I think you're really going to like the unique opportunities of the new job, and that extra three grand plus bennies could be just enough to tip the scales for you guys. This is my pep talk with implied hug.

ETA: screw the bus, I'm flying to hell.

In other news, my boss quit. This is, I think, good news

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

You don't want to take the bus and give ND (im)moral support?

Yeah, this is the one who had problems with grasping the reason each issue's page count had to be divisible by four. This is ALSO the one who, two weeks after I'd had TWO strokes was asking how long until I could put in full days and saying that if I continued to work part days I'd have to get set up to work from home so she could get her eight hours from me.

The status is NOT quo.

If I'm offering immoral support to ND, then somone else has to drive. IJS.

Oh and yes, good riddance to that boss, sounds like.

I thought corsets were for the immoral support.

Sweetie, the kilt is enough. Leave the corsets to the rest of us.

The afterlife should have a Special Buffista Island, or I'm not going.
