Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

But I also distinguish between warming my core and warming my extremities.

Yes, this. I like fleece vests because my arms rarely get cold. I hate getting overheated so layering is key for me.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

But I also distinguish between warming my core and warming my extremities.

Exactly. This is why I love the armwarmers so.

Our wings are not tired.

let me be precise in temperature adjustment, and I'm the kind of weenie that micromanages such things.

I'm the type of weenie whose perfect temperature happiness would be derived from wearing wool socks while chewing on ice. Happy!

Feet warm, face cold = bliss!

Compassionately intolerant

I hate dealing with invoicing. One of my least favorite parts of my job.

ND, I've been getting a lot of advice these days about farming out the parts of your job that cause you angst like this. Virtual assistants, it turns out, aren't even that expensive. And if you can spend more time enjoying what you do best, it ends up paying for itself.

Or so I'm told!

Right now it's not a lot of time on my job, it's just a pain. If things keep growing I'll look at bringing someone on to deal with my rental business and the portion of my business dealing with building turnkey SFX Computers.

One of the big issues for a lot of this is that it's pretty narrow focus and industry specific stuff and the invoicing is tied to writing estimates and project bids.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah. ND needs minions. Pronto.

Our wings are not tired

If a few of the projects that are on the horizon come through, then I may actually be able to afford minions.

Our wings are not tired.

almost of Laura Holt quality--and smiles don't get any better than that.

You guys made my day so much better. I had the suckiest day. All day long, phone call after phone call, fires to put out. And every single problem I had to fix was stuff that wasn't my fault or anything to do with me. And yet it became my problem. I'm tired and cranky, but less cranky now because of the sweet words.

Now to fix the little boys something to eat. My parents took my other son to basketball so I wouldn't have to go out again and I told these other 2 that eating out was not happening. So dogs and mac 'n cheese it is. Then Eureka and Anger Management.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

All the ~ma in the world to your friends, sj. That poor new mom must be out of her mind with worry.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, JZ. She really is. She said she feels helpless, and I have no idea what to do to help other than to ask everyone I know for prayers and -ma.
