Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

What's wrong with sleeveless sweaters?

If I want a sweater, then my arms need one too. If my arms don't need one, then I'm going to get too warm. Clearly not true of everybody, I get that.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, it's like when I see a sleeveless turtleneck - if it's warm enough to go sleeveless, do you want a turtleneck? and if it's cool enough for a turtleneck, don't you want sleeves? at least, that's how I see it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Off the top of my head, I think most of the sleeveless sweaters I've seen have been either shells or sweater sets.

I hate dealing with invoicing. One of my least favorite parts of my job.

I have a very cute short-sleeved sweater. It's good for summer in the office, since the air conditioning is sometimes too cold. I also have 2 short-sleeved turtlenecks in a lightweight material. I think they look sophisticated.

I really wanted a sleveless turtleneck the other day, when I had a hickey on my neck, but it was a brazillion degrees outside...

Oh, but you're not dating K. Oh, no, you're not. You're like so totally not dating!

I had a similar feeling about short-sleeved sweaters for a long time, too, but actually it turns out I don't have a problem with those. Though that may be because I just go ahead and put a sweater on top of them. I don't know. Anyway, I'm not saying they're evil, or a fashion faux pas. They just don't serve any need I have, is all, so I've found them puzzling. But if others don't have my temperature issues, that's just fine.

Totally not, javachik. We had dinner and drinks and I got tipsy and she put me to bed last night. But not dating. Nope.

In fact, I have a date with someone else tonight. To see Harry Potter. Though it's possible it's not a date, and is just a friend thing. I'm unsure. But we'll see.

That'll put marizpan in your pie plate, bingo!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it's warm enough to go sleeveless, do you want a turtleneck? and if it's cool enough for a turtleneck, don't you want sleeves? at least, that's how I see it.

I have a sleeveless turtleneck that's perfect office layering material. I should be so lucky to be exposed to only one temperature during a work day.

But I also distinguish between warming my core and warming my extremities. Especially in LA.

Sleeveless sweaters, whether layered or not, let me be precise in temperature adjustment, and I'm the kind of weenie that micromanages such things.
