Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Well Raq, you could give up FOX news, and give us that time. ijs.

Oh and Fay, Paul and Barney's love is so pure!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I forgot the bagels this morning for Bagel and Beer Friday.

Bad Aimee, No bagel.

OTOH, I *am* dressed like an uppity female golfer! Not the pro female golfers - the uppity country club ones.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I forgot the bagels this morning for Bagel and Beer Friday.

Perfectly reasonable to start with the beer.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Provide enough beer and no one will miss the bagels. Really - get the priorities straight!

Fay, I love the stories about your kids and the various stuffed animals. When I was growing up and we saw a toy that was getting worn, we'd say he'd been loved a lot.

In other news, for people with cats, I get a newsletter from the U of Pennsylvania veterinary school. Seemingly they're having some success with kidney transplants for cats - it's not as common or consistently successful as for humans, but they're making progress.

Mostly lurking...

I'm in Portland, Maine. We're leaving in a few minutes for Bar Harbor. Our hotel is lovely, and I don't want to leave, but the B&B looks lovely too, so hopefully it will be.

I want Allyson's book, though, and there are no Barnes and Nobles around.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am taking the day off of work today. In the morning we have the inspection of our future house, which should be very interesting. Pray that the plumbing and wiring are okay. I love all the workings of a house, so I am looking forward to it. Geeks that we are, the DH and I are videotaping it. Will we watch it again? Yes, we will. Then in the afternoon, long-avoided dentist appointment, which I know will be bad news as I have had a toothache for a couple of weeks now--never a good sign. After that? Perhaps I shall reward myself with a trip to Target.

Punishingly Intricate

That is a great idea! I wish I had videotaped my home's inspection. I learned so much during it which I've mostly forgotten.
