Giles! I accidentally killed Spike. That's okay, right?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm one of those people who never uses an alarm clock because my eyes automatically open at the same time (nearly) every day

I've always kind of wanted to be one of these people. My dad used to be, although not so much since he retired. I, on the other hand, have turned into one of those people who have to set the alarm early, so I can push snooze several times, and away from my bed, so that I actually have to get out of bed to turn it off, so that I don't just turn it off without actually waking. I've had various levels of snooze in my life, but I pretty much only had to move the clock in the last few years. I blame Juneau.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

sexily, snarkily, evilly

All of the above.

This is me. It drives Mr. Jane insane because he's likely just fallen asleep.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I tend to cycle between periods of getting up at the same time every morning and periods of sleeping until 12 if I don't set an alarm. And periods like this where I'm sleeping from about 6-9 in the morning because it's 80 degrees and humid in my apartment and that's the only time when it gets cool enough to sleep. (I think the lack of cooling is a building-wide problem. No cold water, either. I've been taking showers by turning the cold water tap all the way on and showering in warm water.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Blergh. More Matilda fussaboo dead-of-nightness. I no longer have any idea what my internal clock wants to or can do, it's been turned upside down and shaken too hard too many times.

Also, I don't get my new hair, at all. Spent 15 minutes wrestling with product this morning and was late to work. What I really want is a spray bottle of insta-glam so I can spritz my head and walk away, giving myself valuable extra seconds for happy funtime activities like, say, eating. Which hasn't happened yet this morning.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Gooooooood morning.

I'm restless. I need to go visit peeps. I will likely be in Eugene, OR, sometime in the next few months (as an aside, please to be sending health~ma to my Grandpa up there. He is in hospital with pneumonia. This worries me). I wish I had 2 weeks off and a touring bike so I could go up to Eugene, and then up to Seattle, and then down to Portland. This sounds like a very good vacation to me.

I actually made it out of bed in time to take my morning run today, albeit 10 minutes late. This is better than yesterday and Monday, where I slept right through my first, second, and back-up alarm.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'll teach you how to do your hair in two minutes tonight, honey.

~ma for your grandpa, juliana.

I'm supposed to go see my hairdresser after work today. I'm not sure whether that will happen, since we set the date Saturday and I know she's probably had lots of stuff going on since then and she may forget.

I need to get over there though because in addition to needing my hair trimed and retouched, it's upstairs from where the Acid Cowgirl chick works.

brillig

I'm cutting my hair this weekend. Thick curly hair and 100-degree heat do not make Connie a happy woman. Sorry, I have no digital camera.

Totally agree that the term "bright" for atheists is twitch inducing.

Damn it!
