Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Fortunately, we were at my apartment. Fortunately I had the extra car key in the apartment. Unfortunately my apt. keys were in the car. I ended up having to climb the balconies YET AGAIN and break into my apartment YET AGAIN.

Well done, Raq. Good thing Mal ended up with a mom with the energy and agility to handle his needs!

I think I may need to send my co-worker home. It's not even noon and she's broken her bra and stepped on her own foot.

Poor thing. I hate days like that.

Both stories inspire me to link again to one of my current favorite shirts. [link] . Some days it would be so much easier to go sit in one of those director chairs and watch someone else step on their own foot or scale balconies.

move out and draw fire

Possibly! Do you want me to bring my CueCat? :)

Sure!

So, I got into the English Senior Honors program at school. YAY!

Yay! How did I miss this earlier?!? (Also, of course you did).

Our wings are not tired.

Yay Kristin! You survived!

Happy moving day, sj! Time to start creating happy memories in the new place.

Yay Sox! When’s the housewarming party?

Whee! I’m all a twitter! Quick easy labor ~ma. Yay! One small baby for the Alters, one step closer to World Domination for the Buffistas.

Health ~ma headed in AmyLiz direction. Hopefully I will be headed in your direction too. Stupid work keeping me in Florida in the summer.

Congrats to the Honorable vw!

A big dose of moving ~ma headed to Raq. Hopefully no scaling of balconies will be required.

Annoyed at school. Instead of a report card for Brendon I got a letter saying he owed $5 to school. So I drive to school and pay the $5. Now they have to request a report card be sent out again. Who knows when I will see it. School ended 12 days ago. Did get his FCAT scores. 98%tile reading 95%tile math. He’s slipping. We knows his report card will not be as pretty.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations, vw!!! No, there's no couch on the porch, but there's also no porch. The bedroom is really cramped as are our offices.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

So excited for Wee Alter and his parents! Easy-labor~ma to all concerned.

And Ethan should duck out as soon as Jess is well and fully conked out after the birth and pick her up some sushi for when she wakes up. He'll be her favorite husband ever.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

He'll be her favorite husband ever.

I've always had the impression he's pretty much got that award locked up. But extra bonus husband karma never hurts.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

omg, the Littlest Alter will soon be here! SO AWESOME!

ION, I hate my neighbors, but it is fading. They had a afterparty type of thing last night (MONDAY) and I had to go down and knock on their door (actually, they couldn't hear my knock, so I had to go outside and ring their bell) and ask them to keep it down.

They did promptly and wrote an apology this morning, so the urge to kill is fading, fading... but it could still rise any moment.

Do I need to acknowledge the email apology, saying, OK Thanks or something?

Librarian Warlord

A vendor just tried to kill me with a boring presentation of stuff that's not new.

We should all probably kick in to buy Raq a ladder for the new house, or install a rock climbing wall, to ease the breaking in process.

Congrats, vw!

OK Thanks or something?

No. Besides, despite the apology, the noise wasn't okay. I'd just remember to give them a wave and a "hello" the next time you see them as a gesture to show no hard feelings.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I am watching the oddest design show. Based on astrological signs - whic h, why not. But this couple - how did they ever get together - she keeps calling him boring and he says no to everythihg
