Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter! Baby Alter!

I *know*! I'm doing the same thing!

He missed me that much?!?

Indeed.

Fortunately, we were at my apartment. Fortunately I had the extra car key in the apartment. Unfortunately my apt. keys were in the car. I ended up having to climb the balconies YET AGAIN and break into my apartment YET AGAIN.

I learned a couple valuable lessons:
1. Have keys on person at all times
2. Baby rides in trunk.

So, anyone want to come over this weekend and help me unpack?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

YAY sj! Yay vw!

YAY BABY ALTER!!!

Beautiful day here in SF. I think I'll have lunch at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market. Anyone want to join me?

Must prod The Boy into picking a date for a trip to SF. The sooner, the better.

Ann, that's a ferret.

When I was a kid, there was a big local news story about a 2 or 3 year old who wanted to go to grandma's house one night. So he got in the car and somehow got onto the street.

All ended well because the family happened to live on a one-way street on which the "one way" was uphill. If the child had headed downhill, he'd likely have ended up on (or across) the aptly named Riverside Drive.

(((Raq))) Much unpacking-ma to you. I can't imagine moving with an energetic toddler.

Yay SJ! Yay VW! Boo Gloomcookie--any way you can finesse it as "I shouldn't have to take a day off because of the power outage, I wouldn't have been there anyway"?

So, anyone want to come over this weekend and help me unpack?

Possibly! Do you want me to bring my CueCat? :)

I think I may need to send my co-worker home. It's not even noon and she's broken her bra and stepped on her own foot.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

they took our bid. I know it was the ~ma. ::squee::

Congrats on Housed-ness!

Yikes AmyLiz & libkitty - hope you're both doing much better soon (drugged or otherwise)

These movers are the quickest I've had. An hour and a half to pack the truck and they're making quick work of unpacking too.

Yay, excellent news! Best of luck on a smooth unpacking & re-establishing!

Easy-labor-ma, Jessica!

Ditto!

So, I got into the English Senior Honors program at school. YAY!

Congrats vw, that's awesome!

The owners of my "home" for the last three months are coming in tonight around 9:30. Still have to finish a last bit of cleaning - couple of dishes, kitchen floor, etc. I'm heading over tonight after work. Gonna take some muffins so they'll have breakfast in the morning without having to hit the store first thing (they still have coffee in the house, since I don't drink it). Then back to my house and the adventure of unpacking. It's amazing how much stuff I gathered over there in only three months (I've decided that the phenomenon is to be explained by me "expanding to fill available space." Just like if you get a purse bigger than you need, you'll fill it. This is also why I have so many toys in my truck and on my desk). It's also very amazing how much my place has shrunk in the meanwhile. I have no idea where I'm going to put everything.

Also, Hi, everyone!
