"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

HIMYM: Aww, the aww. I may have been in a vulnerably schmoopy mood, what with the SO out of town and all, but I was all bawly over the perfect wedding. It was like my best friend's wedding, in college. Except without, you know, the whole other plan. But that was a perfect wedding, too. Outside on the Tennessee hills, light spring breeze, us in our perfectly wearable bridesmaids dresses. And the little group of family and friends.

However, this does in my early theory that How I Met Your Mother was actually about how Ted met Lily. But that was early, before I became all Marshmallow/Lilypad shipper.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I loved the episode. And Barney's, "It's for the bride!" was hilarious.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh yeah, 'cause that would so work. It's not just the bride trying to have a perfect day, it's everyone else trying to give her a perfect day.

I love the bartender offering to run out for some smoked almonds.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

And Barney's, "It's for the bride!" was hilarious.

That was SO perfect. The whole show just made me happy.
