I'd even accept baking apology cookies
HIMYM: Aww, the aww. I may have been in a vulnerably schmoopy mood, what with the SO out of town and all, but I was all bawly over the perfect wedding. It was like my best friend's wedding, in college. Except without, you know, the whole other plan. But that was a perfect wedding, too. Outside on the Tennessee hills, light spring breeze, us in our perfectly wearable bridesmaids dresses. And the little group of family and friends.
However, this does in my early theory that How I Met Your Mother was actually about how Ted met Lily. But that was early, before I became all Marshmallow/Lilypad shipper.
I loved the episode. And Barney's, "It's for the bride!" was hilarious.
Oh yeah, 'cause that would so work. It's not just the bride trying to have a perfect day, it's everyone else trying to give her a perfect day.
I love the bartender offering to run out for some smoked almonds.

That was SO perfect. The whole show just made me happy.
HIMYM was awesome this week. I loved how it wasn't your typical very special wedding episode at all, but it was still heartwarming and sweet and so funny.
I love the bartender offering to run out for some smoked almonds.
Yeah, that was great.
They lost me for about 5 minutes, when the stuff going wrong was just Too Much, but otherwise, yeah.
The gradual concessions cracked me up, too. I quasi-eloped, so I didn't have any build-up, but I can so see that happening.
Oh, and they should have gotten rid of that bouncer who kept tackling everybody right away. He was most of the Stuff Going Wrong all by himself! Hee.
