Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

brillig

intoxicating neon glow of Laughlin

Snerk, have they *been* to Laughlin???

I kinda hate the shared look at the officiant, because it's all "are they thinking about getting married?", and I'm sure it's got nothing to do with that.

Yeah, Bones is pretty bad with the misdirecting previews, but it's reassuring to think that Booth and Brennan are probably talking about a corpse and grossing out the minister.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I read in the latest EW that Adam Beach is joining the cast of L&O:SVU next season--I might actually start watching that show now.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

If only he were joining one of the other L&Os I might, but I just get too squicked by SVU.

L&O: CI got canceled, right?

It's been moved to USA. They'll air the first run eps and then it will repeat on NBC, probably as part of their Saturday night "encore" programming.

CI ended this season with a bang! Very good ep.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm glad someone else watches L&O:CI. I certainly never expected to find that Bobby Goren may be the result of an affair between his mother and a serial killer. I'd like to talk about CI, but the Buffistas have ruined me for any other board. I really don't think that "OMG, Vincent was really HOTT" really constitutes discussion. I was worried about CI, but it sounds like the USA arrangement may work out fine. I don't pretend to understand television finances, but apparently NBC can make money faster on USA.

Ginger,

you have a friend in me! If you would like to talk about CI, I'm always willing. I haven't missed an ep.

I'm actually glad they went down this road with Goren perhaps the result of an affair because he is so physically different from his brother (not that that couldn't happen in families), that I wonder if they were going to address it. I'm pretty pleased they did.

I also keep hoping that they will show us his partner's child (now the daughter of her sibling). They need to close that story loop, I think.

Eames does refer to her nephew fairly often, and she was playing with a toddler when they were called out on Thanksgiving. The bombshell they dropped this year that they haven't followed up on yet is her saying she was married to a cop who died eight years ago.

The serial killer thing is an interesting twist on his worries of becoming like his father.

(Not only have I not missed an ep, I have three seasons of DVDs. I have a problem.)
