It's been moved to USA. They'll air the first run eps and then it will repeat on NBC, probably as part of their Saturday night "encore" programming.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

CI ended this season with a bang! Very good ep.

I'm glad someone else watches L&O:CI. I certainly never expected to find that Bobby Goren may be the result of an affair between his mother and a serial killer. I'd like to talk about CI, but the Buffistas have ruined me for any other board. I really don't think that "OMG, Vincent was really HOTT" really constitutes discussion. I was worried about CI, but it sounds like the USA arrangement may work out fine. I don't pretend to understand television finances, but apparently NBC can make money faster on USA.

Ginger,

you have a friend in me! If you would like to talk about CI, I'm always willing. I haven't missed an ep.

I'm actually glad they went down this road with Goren perhaps the result of an affair because he is so physically different from his brother (not that that couldn't happen in families), that I wonder if they were going to address it. I'm pretty pleased they did.

I also keep hoping that they will show us his partner's child (now the daughter of her sibling). They need to close that story loop, I think.

Eames does refer to her nephew fairly often, and she was playing with a toddler when they were called out on Thanksgiving. The bombshell they dropped this year that they haven't followed up on yet is her saying she was married to a cop who died eight years ago.

The serial killer thing is an interesting twist on his worries of becoming like his father.

(Not only have I not missed an ep, I have three seasons of DVDs. I have a problem.)

Wow! Well, I missed her playing with her nephew...probably because I thought she had a girl! :-)

There's also a picture of a child on her desk.

do you know if that is the actress' own child?

Adam Beach? I'm almost tempted.

I don't quite understand how I got to a place with this show where I watch it without fail, and love it, but care so little about what happens to so many of the characters.

It's so true. Everyone I know who's still watching House has sort of detached from it, including me. Except I sort of still love the characters, but without any real investment in them.

This! I've been watching the whole time, and all the characters have subtly shifted, and I watched it happen. But somehow, I don't grasp why, or where they're going with it.

I hesitate to say that they've jumped the shark, but....
