OMG that's hilarious - I didn't remember that he got shot in the pilot. So, this is ep2 then? Clearly I'm not precessing well tonight. But, in any case, yay dead idiot!

Starbot. Excellent.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

OK, I'm watching BW on TiVo-delay, and the "consulting producer" credit just scrawled over with the name "Darin Morgan" after it. DARIN MORGAN? The "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" Darin Morgan? Holy shit! I thought he would be, you know, either a billionaire somewhere or in a mental institution by now. This show just got itself a couple of more episodes from me.

On the other hand, I heard Glen, his brother, got kicked off the show as the showrunner because he was going over budget, so who knows if Darin will stick around? Hmmm.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I missed PD, so I'll have to go find it.

It's repeating this Friday. I've got my DVR set for it in case this turns out to be another Wonderfalls in terms of episodes aired (but ABC seems to be a little less yank-happy than Fux, so I hold out hope of at least a short run if it's not a sleeper).

Oh, good! Thanks.

I'm liking Isaiah Washington's character in BW.

So, I DVRd the later episode of EUREKA last night, and (I'm guessing due to FRELLING wrestling) it started 6 minutes late. I saw Beverly about to zap herself in the machine. Can someone give me the synopsis of the rest of the episode?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

a BIG touch of Tim Burton (via Barry Sodendfeld, I guess).

It reminded me of Big Fish.

The only thing that bugged (and it's the littlest of quibbles as I lovedlovedloved the show) was Jim Dale's repeated use of "z years, y months, x days, w hours and v minutes." I hope they drop that going forward.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Lee Pace is the MOST ADORABLE THING EVER OMG.

Yeah, the over explication was a bit much, but I hope they keep Jim Dale as narrator (and, possibly, introduce him as a character at some point, perhaps).

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Lee Pace is the MOST ADORABLE THING EVER OMG.

Isn't he just? When he looked at Chuck in the funeral home and said in the softest voice, "that's not weird. It's symmetrical" with this adorable shy smile, I swear, it broke something in me. I think it might have been one of my ovaries exploding. (What?)

I also loved the scene at Olive's apartment. The height difference cracks me up something fierce. Call me girly, but I love that Lee Pace is taaaaaaallll. He's a tall, cool, lovely drink of water. (And Olive's robe matches the wallpaper! Heh.)

On BW front: Someone on the show clearly is a Wilco fan, 'cause I heard both "Sky Blue Sky" and "What Light" during the episode. Also, they played the Noisettes during the training montage! Alas, the rest of the show failed to be exciting.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm only watching BW for reasons of nostalgia. Hopefully, it will be canceled soon so I don't have to keep TiVoing it out of pity.
