Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Methos is very much a little black dress. In any fandom, ever, since he was around for all of them.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Great. Now I've got a mental image of Roman fangirls going ga-ga over Methos/Zeus. But all that Hera had to put up with, it would make it all worthwhile to be the meat in that sandwich once in a while.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Great. Now I'm picturing Kevin Sorbo having to complain about Peter Wingfield.

Ick. Can we keep Kevin Sorbo out of my fantasy life? Or did you do that on purpose?

I'm just picturing Peter Wingfield. And it's awesome.

Thrive to spite them

Doctor Who! I just love the actor playing Banes. I've been resisting Robin Hood, but I may have to watch since he's in it.

Also I love the way the boy describes the Doctor -- "like fire and ice and rage he's like the night and the storm at the heart of the son. He's ancient and forever he burns at the center of time and can see the turn of the universe...and..he's wonderful."

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Also I love the way the boy describes the Doctor

Yeah, that was cool!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At first when I heard that description I was all ready to eyeroll at the very muchness of it all, but by the end of the ep I was more in the "Damn. Cold-assed bastard." camp myself.

Art Crawl!!!

That was great.

Harry Lloyd (Baines) is wasted in Robin Hood.
