Life on Mars is based on the BBC series of the same name, which revolved around a 21st-century detective (John Simm) who finds himself inexplicably thrust back into the 1970s, working on a case that may affect the future.
You know, that was one interesting thread from the pilot that I thought they would explore more.

Well, it's on the fall schedule, which makes sense since the pilot hasn't been shot yet.

I thought it was pretty well resolved.

DJ, that show world premiered at the rep theatre at my college with Tom Hulce in the Tom Cruise role. I will always have a special place in my heart for that show, my first professional show.
